Buildcor Construction was established in 2010 by Peter Longworth to fill a gap in the construction industry: we provide “big company” professional service and accountability to smaller building and renovating projects.

We offer a professional and cost-conscious approach through careful quoting, cost control, contract administration and execution of the works within the budget and on programme.

Our good working relationships with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and other members of the professional team contribute towards mutually beneficial and client focused projects.

Trust is built on honesty and frankness, and the number of repeat clients and good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers we have established bears testament to this.

We are committed to upholding the professional ethics that govern and guide the industry. We only use subcontractors who are registered with their respective professional bodies.

We are based in Newlands and our primary areas of operation are the City of Cape Town and surrounding winelands. We have also completed projects in the Boland, Helderberg, Overberg and Klein Karoo.

Director

Peter Longworth has a Quantity Surveying background and has worked on projects ranging from airports to high rise office blocks. It is this expertise that drives the company in professionalism from accurate quoting and works programming to quality workmanship and careful cost control. Peter takes a personal interest in all the projects and oversees them from the ground up to completion.

Willem du Plessis

Site Manager

Willem du Plessis has a background in civil engineering processes and has spent many years on site as a foreman.  He is extremely hands-on, well equipped to manage staff and handles all health and safety matters on site.  Willem is also efficient in project management and enjoys working within a team.

Danelle Datnow

Office Manager

Danelle Datnow has experience as an office manager and has worked in various organisations from legal, engineering, e-Commerce and running her own business.  She brings with her experience skills such as human resources, office administration and project admin.
